In the Footsteps of George Chinnery - Children's Art Creative Workshop
In 1825, British painter George Chinnery relocated to Macao and stayed here until he died in 1852. During his stay, he substantially depicted the landscape and character of Macao, Guangzhou and Hong Kong. In this workshop, participants will appreciate the artworks of the Focus exhibition, which offers a glimpse of the scenery of Macao and its neighbouring regions in the 19th century as well as Chinnery's life and creative practices with his friends in Macao. Participants will also get creative by exploring various practices such as sketching and watercolour.
