Artistic Adventure - Children's Art Creative Workshop
Since the 1980s, Macao has attracted numerous talented artists with its charm. They have reinterpreted the city's history and character through unique perspectives and various media. In this workshop, participants will be guided into New Perspectives: Modern and Contemporary Works from the Macao Museum of Art where they will experience the vibrancy of Macao's contemporary art. This will be done through a rich array of creative experiences, engaging with diverse materials, and discovering the unique landscape of this cultural crossroads.

Colouful Stories of the Small City- Parent-child Creative Workshop
This workshop promises fun and creative art exploration for parents and children. It stimulates artistic associations through visual elements such as lines, colours, and textures, promoting creative interaction between parents and children. Participants will deepen their understanding and love for Macao throughout the creative process while nurturing children's observation, creativity, and expressive abilities. This parent-child workshop will allow more families to experience the charm of art and collectively portray the vibrant colours of this small city, Macao.

Colar Macau - Youth Creative Workshop
This workshop, suitable for beginners, offers a fascinating learning experience. By appreciating the artworks of Macao artists, participants will create collages that capture the essence of Macao, using paper of various shapes, patterns, colours, and textures. The steps involved, such as selecting paper, choosing colours, and analysing composition and patterns, will guide the creation of personalised collage pieces. Participants will experience the harmony, creativity, and surprises that simple cutting and pasting techniques can achieve. This expressive art form allows participants to convey their understanding and feelings towards Macao's scenery and fosters art appreciation and innovative thinking.

     Application Info and Rules
  1. Application is only available to those who have joined Friends of MAM . For more information: /en/detail/1281
  2. Application is available from 4th March (Tuesday) to 16th March (Sunday) 2025. Interested parties can visit the activity application section on the ‘Macau One Account’ mobile app or website for activity information, application, cancellation, application procedures and admission results. They can also check their schedules and receive activity reminders in the section ‘My to-do list’.
  3. Each applicant can only sign up for one class for each workshop.
  4. If the application number exceeds the workshop quota, admission will be made by drawing lots. Admission results will be announced on 18th March (Tuesday)2025. Successful applicants are required to pay their workshop fees online via ‘Macao One Account’ from 18th March (Tuesday) to 21st March (Friday) 2025.
    • Online Payment: Pay online via ‘Macau One Account’, or through ‘GovPay’ machines or devices - available with the VISA and MasterCard credit cards issued by Macao banks. Available electronic payment platforms also include BOC Mobile Banking App and MPay.
    • Physical Payment: Please pay your fee in person at the MAM. Available payment methods include cash, the VISA and MasterCard credit cards and debit cards issued by the Bank of China (Macau Branch), the Union Pay credit cards and debit cards issued by Macao banks (except Banco Nacional Ultramarino), Union Pay Quick Pass Card, Union Pay Quick Pass App, BOC Mobile Banking App, Tai Fung Pay, China Guangfa Bank App, Luso Pay, ICBC ePay, UePay, WeChat Pay (available to mainland China residents), Alipay (available to residents of Macao, mainland China and Hong Kong), MPay and Macau Pass. Payment through the Electronic Consumption Benefit Plan is not accepted.
  5. Successful applicants who fail to pay the workshop fees on time will be replaced by those on the waiting list. Waiting-list applicants must pay the workshop fees from 25th March (Tuesday) to 27th  March (Thursday ) 2025; otherwise, their application will be cancelled.
  6. Selected candidates who fail to pay workshop fees on time, or participants with an attendance of less than 75%. Additionally, applications for similar activities in the future may not be accepted.
  7. Under special circumstances, MAM reserves the right to cancel any workshops. Unless the workshop is cancelled by MAM, paid fees are not refundable. Transferring paid fee and workshop seats to another person is not allowed.
  8. Museum will not advise further amendments of these rules. Please refer to information posted on Macao Museum of Art website.
  9. Personal Information Collection Statement

●       The personal information collected in this form will be used for processing your application and insurance purpose.

●       Such information may be transferred to other authorized entities to fulfill statutory obligations.

●       The information collected in connection with your application will be kept confidential and treated with due care by ICM staff until the completion of your application and the expiry of the storage period. The information will then be destroyed or archived.
