To celebrate the Palace of Double Brilliance: Special Exhibition from the Palace Museum, the Macao Museum of Art is holding outreach events. These events, focusing on seal carving and engraving artefacts, aim to inspire the audience to appreciate and understand Emperor Qianlong’s seals and paintings from different perspectives. Our expert explanations, demonstrations, and hands-on workshops will enhance the audience's cultivation of traditional Chinese culture and art.
This workshop aims to introduce Emperor Qianlong’s seals and traditional seal carving art in an accessible manner. Participants will learn to use engraving techniques to create stamps and artwork. They will experience the joy of creativity, using a knife as a brush and stone as a base, breathing new life into ordinary stones, and stamping their uniquely crafted calligraphy works with their personal seals.
